VISITORS TO GISBORNE INDOOR BASKETBALL With 22 teams and supi»oi - tera from outside centres attending the North Island indoor basketball championships, accommodation will be required for upwards of 250 such visitors to Gisborne during the week-end of September 20. All available hotel accommodation, has been requisitioned, but a considerable number of visitors have yet to be provided for and the Gisborne Indoor Basketball Association is appealing to town residents to give any assistance possible. The visitors are expected to reach Giaborn® on the Friday evening and will be departing mainly on the Sunday morning. Residents willing to accommodate one or more are invited to communicate with Mr. J. Stokes, ’phone 4213, during day hours, or Mr. N. Balfour, ’phone 2452, during the evening hours, or any other officials of the Gisborne association.
