GISBORNE RACE INCIDENT A special meeting of the Hawke’s Bay District Committee inquired further into the running of the Poverty Bay Hurdles at Gisborne on Saturday, February 8. S. After hearing lengthy evidence, the committee decided that the evidence submitted was not sufficient to enable the'committee to find that the alleged breaches of the rules had been committed by McGreal or Rough.
