TOTAL OVER £251,000 The commercial broadcasting stations earned a net profit of £95,626 in the year ended March 31, compared with £107,303 in the previous year, according to the annual report of the Broadcasting Service, The operation of the national stations resulted in a surplus for the year of £155,907, against £204,184. The number of current radio licenses was 416,544, an increase of 22,645 for the 12 months.
