SHEEP INDUSTRY
MEETING OF COMMISSION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 5. Tlie first meeting of the Royal Commission on the sheep industry will be held in Wellington on September 10, according to an announcement made last night by the chairman of the commission, Mr, R. 11. White, Otane. This will be the inaugural meeting. In the morning the commission is meeting the Minister of Agriculture, and later in the day is receiving submissions on procedure from the Federated Farmers, the Meat and Wool Boards, the Departments of Agriculture and Lands and the State Advances Corporation. Alter these submissions the commission wilt determine its procedure and adjourn until later in the year, when a start can be made with the hearing of evidence.
It is hoped to complete the first si ting next Wednesday in the one day
