GOLD JEWELLERY BAN
WEDDING RINGS AFFECTED (10 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 24. A Treasury order issued prohibiting the use of gold in the manufacture of jewellery for the home trade mc-ans no more gold wedding rings for British brides, says the Daily Mail. All gold wedding rings will now be exported.
