U.S. PRESSURE BLAMED
FAILURE OF TRADE TALKS BRITAIN AND RUSSIA (10 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 13. The Soviet magazine New Times alleged that American pressure was partly responsible for the failure of the British-Soviet trade talks in Moscow as it was clear the conditions on which deliveries of Russian wheat were offered could be unprofitable to the Chicago and Canadian monopolies. _ The New Times complained that the British accounts made it appear that Russia was trying maliciously to avoid the development of trade relations with Britain.
