PROTEST BY BRITAIN
HUNGARIAN TAX CUTS RUSSIAN COMPANIES LONDON, Aug. 11. The British Government’s political representative in Budapest delivered to the Hungarian Government a Note protesting against the special tax concessions to four Soviet-Hungarian companies. The Note says that the concessions to tlie Russians are inconsistent with the peace treaty until the other United Nations’ natios'als get similar privileges. The Note requests these privileges for British companies in Hungary.
