INFANTILE PARALYSIS

INCREASE IN BRITAIN (10 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 10. After steadily increasing in the past few weeks, the Ministry of Health announced that the number of infantile paralysis cases in Britain reached 448 for the week ended August 2, an increase of 146 on the previous week and the highest total to date. A Ministry of Health official said a big decrease in the number of cases was not expected tor some time.
