CIVIL & jMILITARY OFFICIAL INVESTITURE RECOGNISED RECIPIENTS Recipients of honours and awards at the public investiture to be held in Gisborne on September 11, when the Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, will picside, will include civilian and service personnel for whom no previous opportunity has occurred of receiving their decorations from the hands of the King’s representative. An intimation has been given that the list compiled for the investiture has been drawn from official records, and that there may be others whose names should be included. An invitation has been extended to those who have not received official notice of the investiture, and who are entitled to take part as recipients, to advise the official secretary at Government House, Wellington, either direct or through the assistant area officer at Gisborne, Captain L.
