WORKERS FOR CHINA

FURTHER 22 FROM N.Z. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 23. Within the next few months CORSO in New Zealand will send 22 persons to China to assist the present Workers there, according to the Dominion secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. Morrison. The workers will include doctors, nurses, a pharmacist, hospital technicians, and administrators and helpers for Mr. Rewi Alley. Partly they will give immediate_ service. and partly they will train Chinese to carry on when the CORSO experts leave.

Requests have been made to Mr. Morrison, who has just returned from China, for a further -26 persons, to assist in the work but until CORSO can finance their dispatch preparations cannot be made.
