£2OO COMPETITION

NEW ZEALAND NOVEL (P.A.) DUNEDIN. May 1. The Otago Daily Times announces that a competition will be held for a work of fiction to be competed for m centennial year of the provincial district of Otago. A prize of £2OO is offered for a work of approximately 100.000 words having a New Zealand historical theme. This competition will be open to all persons born in New Zealand, or permanently living and domiciled in New Zealand at the date of the closing of the contest on March 31, 1948.
