Tin Musk, 4-4 in thß betting, accounted for the Tauranga Hack Cup at the Bay of Plenty meeting on Saturday, this being the five-year-old’s second victory of the season. His previous success was achieved early in the spring when he beat Mabel Knight, who also won a race at the Gate Pa meeting on Saturday. The winner of the Cup is a six-year-old by the imported Stedfast horse Musketoon from Tin Lap. Second was Silver Lighting (by Silver Stick), while Bronze Night. 3-3 in the betting, ran third. Bronze Night, when he returns to hurdling, should soon put paid to his account. In this race the Gis-borne-owned-and-trained Big Wonder was not in the money.
