Mr. and Mrs. P. Walsh, Hastings, have been visiting Gisborne. A Te Aute visitor to Gisborne is Miss R. Rendall. Mrs. E. Wilkinson, Christchurch, who had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. D. McWha, Whitaker street, returned south yesterday. Mrs. Harraway, sen., returned by air to Dunedin yesterday morning. She had been visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. Harraway, Haronga road. Mr. and Mrs. George Moody, Dunedin, who are on a motoring tour of the North Island, arrived at Gisborne from Auckland on Monday and left yesterday for Wellington, via Wairoa and' Napier. Miss Helen Corbett and Mr. Pat Corbett returned to Gisborne on Tuesday afternoon by 'plane after a brief trip to Wellington. Visitors to Gisborne for the Shanks— Jex-Blake wedding last week-end included Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Stovell, Waipuj-curau. Mr. and Mrs. J. de V. W. Blathwayt, Martinborough. Mrs. Harry Rathbone, Waipawa, and Mrs. H. Airey, Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Williams, Mrs. C. K. Williams, and Mr. and Mrs W. E. Williams were Coast visitors to Gisborne last week-end and were guests at Almadale. Miss D, Watt, Stout street, has return- ] ed to Gisborne after spending two , months in the South Island. Miss B. Ferguson, Ruatoria, was in ■ Gisborne this week and left to-day on her journey south. j Miss Joyce Markie, Rutene road, has 1 returned to Gisborne after a holiday \ in Wellington, and Mrs. C. Goldsmith, j Cobden street, also returned recently j from Wellington. ; Mrs. J. Hargest, widow of the late ( Brigadier Hargest, has been in Hawke's, Bay and Gisborne on a brief visit and*'' then went on to Tauranga.
