DEATH AT NAPIER

MR. F. A. NOBLE CAMPBELL The death occurred recently of a widely-known and highly-respected resident of Napier in the person of Mr. Frederick Aldcrson Noble Campbell. Born at Naseby, Central Otago, Mr. Noble Campbell went to Hawke’s Bay at an early age and received his education at the Napier Main and Boys’ High Schools. On leaving school he joined t'-.e staff of the New Zealand Insurance Company at Napier, later serving with the firm in Auckland. He saw service in the First World War. On his return to New Zealand Mr. Noble Campbell farmed at Tiniroto for a time, and also engaged in woolclassing. Latterly he had been on the staff of the Vacuum Oil Company at Napier. Mr. Noble Campbell’s death, although he had been in ill-health, was sudden and unexpected. Ho leaves a widow and three young children.
