The cuts announced in the press on Saturday, March 22nd, will be cancelled as from Tuesday, March 25th. Commercial consumers are notified that shop window lighting is prohibited on all nights except Friday nights, and then only for the period between half an hour after sunset and 9 p.m. Window lighting must not exceed an average of 10 watts for each foot of window frontage. Interior lighting of shops, milk bars, restaurants or dining-rooms must not exceed 100 watts for each 100 square feet of floor area. Interior lighting of theatres, concert or dance halls, cabarets, public or private hotel lounges or hotel bars must not exceed 60 watts for each 100 square feet of floor area.
