Mr. A. Leslie. 1v1.R.C.V.5., Eltliam, who for many years has been chief veterinarv officer of the Taranaki fcederalion of Co-operative Dairy Factories, has been appointed chief executive officer to- the newly formed New Zealand Veterinary Council. He will take up his duties almost immediately. His headquarters will be at Wellington. P.A. , , , Mr. Sclwyn Baker. Christchurch, nas been selected to train in carillion playing and on qualification will be appointed to the poistion of carillionist at the National War Memorial Carillion. Wellington. Mr. Baker, who is a returned serviceman of the recent war, will proceed overseas for s course r»f training in carillion playing. A special bursary is being provided for the purpose by the Rehabilitation Board.-—P.A.
