OPERATION OF VEHICLES LONDON, March 13. The Minister of Transport, Mr. A. Barnes, announced that the Government had decided to drop the clause in the Transport Bill restricting firms operating their own transport to a radius of 40 miles. The Government, he said, reached its decision after considering representations from industry.' The number of vehicles affected will be 300.000, which now may continue operating throughout the country.
