STEWARDS MISSING
EVE OF SAILING REPLACEMENT SCURRY (P.A.) AUCKLAND. Jan. 31. The disappearance from the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitiki of 18 assistant * stewards during Wednesday and yesterday resulted in strenuous efforts being made by company officials to secure replacements before the liner left Auckland last night for London, via Sydney. The number was finally completed by men wishing to travel to or return to Britain. Deeply laden with a full cargo of produce, the liner is travelling to London by way of Sydney, where she will embark the Duchess of Gloucester,
