The fields are all well filled and will include several horses which raced at the recent Wellington meeting. The track promises to be hard. Indian Dawn, Blithe Spirit, Battle Abbey, Helio and Deep Sea have been taken out of the Middle Park Plate, and Zorro, Oronoko and Rival Chase are likely to be reserved for the Lyttelton Plate.
