ANTI-NEGRO LAW

GEORGIA'S DECISION (10a.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 30. The Georgian House of Representatives passed by 133 votes to 02 Mr. Herman Talmadge’s bill to bar negroes from voting in the Democratic Party primary elections. He disregarded warnings that the action might cause the establishment of negro political parties in the State democratic primaries in the southern States, which predominantly support the Democratic Party. It will mean that the virtual election of a successful candidate at the actual poll is regarded as a formality.
