STRUGGLE LIKELY

NEW AGRICULTURAL BILL LONDON, Jan. 27. The Opposition will criticise many clauses in the debate on the Agricultural Bill, which will begin in the House of Commons to-day, but there ■will be no. attempt to reject the measure, says The Times’ Parliamentary correspondent. The Opposition broadly welcomes the stabilising policy to which the bill gives legislative effect, though some of the wide powers which the Minister claims will not be conceded without a struggle. The Minister during the second reading is likely to be pressed to relate the guaranteeing of prices to an assurance of the size of the market.
