WAIROA RACES

Special train arrangements have been made for the convenience of Gisborne patrons. A train will leave Gisborne on Saturday at 8.10 a.m. and will return from Wairoa at 6.30 p.m. Last year the catering arrangements at the coui'se were not adequate for the big crowd who desired refreshments. In" the interim extensive additions have been made to the seating accommodation in the tea-rooms. The hot water supply has been very considerably augmented, and patrons who take picnic lunches and afternoon tea will be able to get ample hot water. An innovation instituted by the club is a quick-lunch counter, where a pie and a cup of tea can be quickly secured in between races.
