WAIHIRERE PICNIC FREEZING WORKERS’ DAY In hot, sunny, ideal picnic weather the Gisborne freezing workers held their annual picnic at the Waihirere Domain on Monday. There was a very large attendance of workers and their families, and through the energetic work of the various committees under the chairmanship of Mr. Currie, all present spent an enjoyable day.
