PLAN TO LEAVE ITALY

ALL ALLIED TROOPS SEQUEL TO TREATY (11 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 28. A co-ordinated plan for the evacuation of all Allied troops from Italy will come into operation within 90 days of ratification of the Italian treaty, which is due to be signed in Paris on February 10 and is expected to be ratified soon afterward, says the Daily Telegraph’s Caserta correspondent, quoting a military spokesman.

The British forces will be evacuated through Trieste and the American through Leghorn. The spokesman added that an Allied commission had been advising the Italian Army on methods of organisation, equipment and training.
