BRITISH PEDIGREE STOCK SPECIAL MISSION’S TASK (9 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 28. The British agricultural _ mission headed by Sir William Gavin, chief agricultural adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture and comprising a number of leaders of British livestock societies, is going to South America next month with the object of encouraging South American breeders and farmers to buy British pedigree stock aad British farm machinery.

With the concurrence of the Foreign Office the Ministry of Agriculture is now appointing agricultural attaches at various British Legations overseas for the purpose of establishing agricultural links with foreign countries. Recent appointments of this nature have been to Buenos Aires and Copenhagen.
