CARGO TRANSHIPMENT
USE OF OVERSEAS SHIP (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Dec. 20. Cargo destined for Auckland but unloaded at Wellington to avoid shipping and handling congestion at Auckland will not be sent on by coastal ship but will be loaded into another overseas vessel for .forwarding to avoid a further burden on the New Zealand coastal fleet, the overseas shipping allotment committee announced to-day. An overseas ship which is due from Australia to load in New Zealand will bo used to move the Waiwera and Rangitiki’s cargoes unloaded at Wellington instead of at Auckland,
