Majestic.—Roy Rogers In “Utah” and the mystery drama "Three’s a Crowd” conclude to-night. Commencing on Monday, “John Halifax. Gentleman.” heads the Christmas holiday programme. "John Halifax, Gentleman,” is a British picture from the well known story. King’s.—Noel Coward has passed the whole period of his dramatic development in the English scene, and one of the most impressive examples of his mature work, "Brief Eticounted,” comes' to the King’s Theatre today. It affords a deep insight into a women’s heart, a woman who has reached middle life and who suddenly finds romance during her to forget marriage, children, and her routine life. Hers is indeed a brief encounter, and with a man who is ns surprised himself to find love sweeping him off his feet. Starred in the picture are Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard. Regent.—“ Easy to Wed,” a new M.G.M. Technicoiour musical now showing at the Regent, is easy to look at, easy to listen to, and, above all. easy to laugh at. With a star-studded cast, topped by Van Johnson, Esther Williams, Lucille Ball and Keenan Wynn, the picture offers a world of entertainment in a laugh-provoking tale of a ladykiller who sells his charm to the highest bidder only to find himself facing charges of bigamy. Against this is laid a colourful background of metropolitan action contrasted with scenes at a Mexican resort.
