NATIONAL TRIBUTE
MR. HOLLAND AS LEADER 1.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Dec. 7. A tribute to the services given by Mr. S. G. Holland, whose leadership and prestige, he said, stood higher than ever as a result of his conduct of the campaign, was paid by the president of the National Party. Mr. W. J. Sim, K.C., at a meeting in Wellington yesterday of the Dominion executive. The following resolution was recorded: “That this meeting of the Dominion executive of the New Zealand National Party expresses its great appreciation of the conduct of the recent election campaign by Mr. S. G. Holland, and pledges its full and unswerving loyally to him as the leader of the partv.”
