"(9 a m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 5. A girl aged 17 said she got a great Kick out tf blowing safes, breaking into places and getting away at high speed, according to police witnesses when a girl was charged on eight counts of breaking, entering and stealing. Two men were charged with her.
The police said the girl had told them she was never frightened because she always carried a gun. Sne said the men she was with usually carried a gun or a waddy .
A detective said, in evidence, that when he questioned the girl she told him she carried wire for wiring on to electric detonators, to set them off. Sometimes it was wired on to a battery in a car which they used on “the job." On other occasions, she carried a small battery.
