LONDON, Nov. 19
After public expenditure estimated at more than £50,000 the construction of more giant 100-passenger flyingboats of the Short Shetland type has been dropped because. this already has been out-dated by Saunders Roe’s development of a similar boat equipped with jet and propellor engines states the Evening News.
