“MOST DISTURBING”

LOST WORKING TIME WELCOME TO MR. FRASER (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 21. "It is most disturbing to industry to know that, a working day has been chosen for such a demonstration, particularly as the greater number of workers have been granted a free day every Saturday.” said the secretary ot the Wellington Employers’ Association, Mr. W. J. Mountjoy. when commenting on the request to workers to attend a reception to the Prime Minister, Mr. P. Fraser.

“As the Government by recent legislation has granted factory and shop workers and workers in business establishments a half-day from 2 p.m. on election day, it would appear that the publicising of the Prime Minister seems more important, to Ihese people than the well-being of the Dominion.”
