AGREEMENT REACHED TURKEY AND IRAQ ISTANBUL. April 4. The Premier of Iraq, General Nuries Said, announced that an agreement had been reached between Turkey and Iraq on the building of dams on .the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers at a cost of £6,000.000, to be covered entirely by Iraq, which would be protected from destructive floods. The power station to be built under the plan would supply 1.000.000 kilowatts of electric power to Turkey a year,
