TWO TEAMS ENTERED
CALEDONIAN HOCKEY CLUB The Caledonian Hockey Club, which has been in recess during the war years, will enter two teams in the competition to be conducted by the Poverty Bay Hockey Association this year. They will be known as Caledonia and Caledonia A. At tiie first meeting to be held by the club for some years Mr. A .McLean, the chairman, welcomed old and new members, particularly those who had returned from overseas. Regret was expressed at the death of two past members of the club, Messrs. A. and J. Crot.hcrs, who were killed on active service overseas. The election of officers resulted: —Patroness, Mrs. D. Turbitt; president. Mr. J. Turbitt; vice-presidents, Mrs. Sutcliffe, Dr. R. M. Lunn, Messrs. S. W. Horsburgh, *T. Carroll, L. Cooper, J. Harrison, E. W. Pritchard, D. Turbitt, and A. Frecbairn; hon. secretarytreasurer, Mr. B. Kingston: chairman, Mr. A. McLean; club captain and manager, Mr. T. T. Turbitt; delegates to the Poverty Bay Hockey Association, Messrs. A. Taylor and P. Cassin.
