Pan-Pacific Conference Delayer

Owing to the unsettled labour conditions. the United Stales representatives will be unable to attend in the immediate future the mooted pari-Paci-lic conference of Australian. New Zealand and United States Pacific Coast waterside workers. Mr. 11. Bridges, president of the International Longshoremen and Warehousemen s Union, iias communicated with Mr. H. Barnes, president of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union, asking that the conference bo postponed and suggesting that the venue be Honolulu or San Francisco. The New Zealand delegates will be Mr. Barnes, and Mr. T. Hill, secretary of the New Zealand union.— P.A.
