MAUTHAUSEN HORROR TRIAL OF GERMAN GUARDS (9 a.m.) LONDON, April 5. Giving evidence at the trial of 60 members of the staff of the Mauthausen concentration camp on charges of war crimes, a former inmate, Hans Marsalek said he saw the mass shooting of British, American and Dutch paratroopers at the camp. Women also witnessed the shooting.

Marsalek added he heard the commander, Zifris, on his deathbed say that 70,000 people died in Mauthausen.
