Racing Reforms
A special meeting of delegates to the New Zealand Racing Conference has been convened for May 1 in Wellington to discuss and decide what representations shall be made to the proposed Gaming Commission, if and when it is appointed. The matters to be discussed will include reforms which have been sought by ihe racing authorities lor many years. Among these have been those advocated to divert off-course betting to the totalisator. the restoration of doubles totalisalors, and the publication of dividends.—P.A. -
