SYMPATHY WITH EGYPT (.10 a.m.) LONDON. March 5. Shops in Beirut were closed to-day in sympathy with Egypt’s day of mourning, says Reuter’s correspondent. The Government issued Ihe warning during the day,’ however, that strikes and demonstrations would be prohibited from to-morrow.
