Members of the Matawai Bowlins Club are expected to visit, Te Karaka on February 21, when a good day’s bowling is expected with the green taxed In capacity. Next Saturday the club is to be represented I,V the following players in the centre cham-pionships:-Senior: A. Clnyden. Intermediate: A. Hav. Junior: I’. Bnikie. The Te Karaka green lias suffered severely (bis season through shortage of water, hut tiio secretary, Mr. W. Lullrcll. is now actively engaged upon a scheme to provide ail abundant water supply which will remove any fear of the effect of a drought in the future.
