LABOURER IMPRISONED

A labourer. Edgar Rueben Lewis, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to the theft of an overcoat valued at £B, the property of George Kelly Pahau, on January 31. Messrs. C. Blackburn and G. Muirhead J.P.s, presided. “This young man is getting quite a list,” said Detective-Sergeant R. H. Waterson. “He has been in trouble previously for theft. liis mother cannot do anything with him.” The accused was sentenced to one month's imprisonment.
