MR. LEE AND LABOUR

NEXT ELECTION FIGHT It ,was recently announced that strong pressure was being brought from within the ranks of Labour in Auckland to have Mr. J. A. Lee, ex-M.P. for Grey Lynn, readmitted as a member of the party. At the last Labour conference Mr. Lee was not readmitted and in this connection he makes some cautic comment in a recent issue of his magazine, J. A. Lee’s Weekly. Incidentally, Mr. Lee goes deep into the innermost secrets of the Labour Party and his observations will no doubt be read with considerable interest, as he declares that both he and his Democratic Labour Party will be in the field once again in the general election towards the end of this year.
