MAN INJURED BY TRAIN
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N., Dec. 19. Severe injuries were suffered by a commercial traveller, Mr. Neville A. Gibson, 170 Cambridge terrace, Lower Hutt, when the car he was driving was struck by the New Plymouth-Welling-ton express at the Ruahine street crossing shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday. The car was completely wrecked, and Mr. Gibson was picked up 51ft from .the point of impact.
