Hikuwai Willow-Clearing
A substantial and sufficient sum towards the willow-clearing in the Hikuwai River has been agreed to be paid by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board was advised yesterday through the resident engineer of the Works Department, Mr. E. W. McEnnis. The Main Highways Board is also to contribute.
