TWO EVENTS DIVIDED
STRONG FIELDS CARDED
(Herald Special Service.) The first day of the Whangarei Racing Club's spring meet ins will be held to-morrow. Provision has been made for divisions in two races, the Maiden Stakes and the Spring Plate. The fields in the other events, too, are strong, although the class is fairly even. Sublime Fox will not start at the meeting. The betting will be under the win-and-plnce system. Horses likely to find favour include: Maiden Stakes.—First Division: Beau Martian, Bonnie Grey, Great Pleasure.
