BRITISH PROTESTS
SOVIET ECONOMIC PACTS HUNGARY AND RUMANIA (10 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 23. Tile British protest against the Russian treaty with Hungary applies also to a similar Russian-Rumanian agreement. says the Press Association’s diplomatic correspondent. He adds that both agreements provide for the Russians having a half-share of the industries of the countries concerned. The British Note takes exception to the manner in which the agreements were concluded without prior consultation with the' Allied Governments.
