U.S. EQUIPMENT IN CHINA

CHUNGKING BIG BIDDER (10 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 26. Negotiations are proceeding for the sale of bulk American Army equipment in China valued at about 150,000,000 dollars, says the New York Times correspondent in Chungking. United States Government agencies, the United Nations' Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, also non-profit organisations will have the first chance to buy the property, „but except for UNRRA's expanded needs the Chinese Government is expected to buy most of the goods. The Chinese are especially interested in acquiring road-building and communications equipment. Ten thousand army vehicles and about 400 planes of all types are expected to be available.
