SEDDON SHIELD RUGBY

(P.A.) BLENHEIM, Sept. 3. Defending the Seddon Shield against Nelson on Saturday afternoon, Marlborough won. a fast, open game of Rugby by 14 points to three. The Marlborough forwards dominated the play and secured the ball from the majority of the scrums. The backs were in good form and there were many spectacular movements. The Marlborough line was not crossed.
