Regent.—Entertainment that will prove entirely satisfying to all patrons of the Regent will be provided in to-day’s change ot programme, when the spectacular mus.ca! comcd.v, "Bowery to Broadway" will be screened. Maria Montcz, Susanna Foster, Jack Oakie, and Turhan Bey are in the starring roles, and are supported by a talented cast headed by Bouise Allbritton, Frank McHugh. Ann Blyth, Donald Cook, Leo Carrillo, Andy Devine, and Evelyn Ankers. It is a love story full of music, beauty, and laughter. Majestic To-dny’s programme is headed by Paramount’s “Star Spangled Rhythm.” It has a tremendous cast, not just "appearing,” but each one doing a grand job of musical entertainment to provide n variety show in the form of a musical comedy to delight everybody, including children. The associate feature, "Torpedo Boat,” stars Richard Arlen and Jean Parker and is packed with action and romance. King’s.—Reaching new heights of frightening mystery and strange emotion, 20th Cen-tury-Fox’s new thrill-hit, “Hangover Square.” starring Laird Cregar, Linda Darnell and George Sanders, opens to-day at the King’s Theatre. Originally written as a novel byPatrick Hamilton, author of "Angel Street" rind "Rope’s End,” Hangover Square” is credited with containing more shudders than either of his other books. The film tells the story of a brilliant composer who suffers from lapse of memory, during which he commits brutal murders, and n lovely girl.
