YOUNG BOY DROWNED

AUCKLAND FATALITY (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Aug, 27. A young boy was found drowned in a deep pool on Cornwallis Beach shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday. He was; Brian Arthur Martin, aged two, son of Mr. Ronald Martin, Mount Roskill. The child, who had been playing on the beach in the morning, was missed by his parents, who were spending the day at Cornwallis Beach, and was found in a pool by a local resident. It is thought that he was caught in an extraordinarily high tide on the beach.
