Majestic.—Concluding to-night are “Secret Enemies” and “Pioneers of the Frontier. Monday’s programme is headed by “Government Girl,” a gay comedy-romance played against the absorbing background of Washington. It stars Olivia do Havillaml and features the new “find.” Sonny Tufts, 'lulls is cast as a go-getting tiollav-a-year man ordered to speed up bomber production, and Miss De Havillaml has the title role as his efficient secretary who tries vainly to keep him out of trouble. The associate feature •s “The Mummy’s Curse,” the latest of the “Mummy Pictures.” King’s.—Exposing the real aims of Germany’s war lords and their determination to bring about a third world-wide conflict in the future, “The Master Pace,” which commenced at the- King’s yesterday, presents a startling and thought-provoking picture of unusual timeliness. With a notable cast headed by George Coulouris and usa mas. the film reveals the Toutonic leaders' secret long-range plans and then vividly,- shows how tho plan is tried out in a little Belgian village. j. Regent.—-Hundreds of thousands of people who have read and loved Alice,l)uer Miller’s charming poem, “The White Cliffs of Dover,” will he thrilled anew at the screen version now showing at the Regent Theatre. Irene Dunne gives a beautiful portrait ol the young American girl and subsequently the mother, steadfast in her faith. There are, too, some fine character studies by Alan Marshall, C. Aubrey Smith, Frank Morgan, Dome May. Whitty, Gladys Cooper. Elizabeth Taylor, and Roddy McDowall. .
