PREMIER NOT ON ROLL
NO RIGHT TO VOTE REGISTRATION BLUNDER (10 a.m.) LONDON, July 2. The Prime Minister, Mr. Churchill, whose identity card gives his address at No. 10 Downing Street, is not registered on the electoral roll, which is based on identity cards and he has no vote, says the Evening Standard diarist. His private secretary, Mrs. Hill, is also without a vote. “Obviously there is a blunder between the Registrar-General’s Office and the electoral registrar’s office,” says the diarist.
